There was no answer to my actual inquiry about what I paid for and why they would offer an extended guestbook if nobody can access it?I emailed the company again and surprisingly (not really) there has been no response. I emailed the company with my question about why 1) the obituary I just paid for was no longer visible to me and 2) why I was met with the need to purchase a subscription. It's outrageous and absurd and also important that people realize how little they really care about you. I was in disbelief and in shock that a very small, very unknown publication would steal money like this from people that are grieving. There was NO indication of this when I purchased the obituary. I lost my mother and a couple of days later paid a very large sum of money to post a digital obituary via the Joplin Globe and not even five days later that obituary was totally inaccessible to me unless I paid for a subscription service. You want to post an obituary in remembrance and for others to view/post their comments. Imagine you just lost someone in your immediate family and you're in shock, you are devastated, you are lost. The Joplin Globe charges you OVER $300 to post a digital obituary (only).
